You might have faced connectivity issues many times while using MySQL Workbench. In this blog, I am going to tell you how to keep your connection Alive.

Follow the below screenshots

Edit Menu then Preferences
Change the MySQL Session Value

Change the DBMS connection keep-alive interval value to less than 5 minutes (300 seconds) because if you are connecting with the remote database then many remote servers have default configuration of 5 minutes (300 seconds). So when you put value less then 300 seconds then Workbench sends a keep-alive message at your specified interval.

For Autosave interval change

Changing the autosave interval

To keep your SSH Connection Active
